Members of Chambers have experience in a range of Regulatory and Disciplinary cases as advocates and as Tribunal members. Our members routinely offer compliance advice in respect of financial markets, licensing, health and safety, housing, planning, environmental law and conduct by professionals including accountants, doctors and lawyers. Often these case concern technical matters of law where specialist advice is required to ensure a pragmatic and timely resolution. The diverse background and practice areas of our members mean that they can bring together their expertise and experience in defending or prosecuting regulatory and disciplinary cases.
We have experience in representing clients in a range of tribunals especially medical and sports matters where the team combine their expertise of robust courtroom advocacy and thorough case preparation to secure favourable results. Many of our members have undertaken secondments to gain in-depth training and specialism, for example with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Our members represent clients in Judicial Review of tribunal decisions and appear in appeal hearings at all levels, including the Supreme Court, Privy Council and even the United Nations.
